Today is meant to be the most depressing day of the year. As a tribute to this third Monday in January I would like to post a series of photographs that I took at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park. The series is based on the work of Jaume Plensa.
I was touched by the loneliness of each figure; it inspired me to dedicate the photographs to Blue Monday. I am not sure if this is the feeling that the artist hoped to portray, although there are certain phrases embedded in the sculptures that could lead you to that conclusion.
